This week, I emailed my stakeholders, such as collectors, artists, and art toy companies, as I had planned.

I also plan to meet more stakeholders. I found this project, which I think also relates to my project as well.
The Toy Project is a charity that recycles unwanted toys and redistributes them to children and families in need, both in the UK and internationally. I think this project relates to my project in that it highlights the importance of toys beyond just playthings. It inspired me to use art toys as tools for emotional support and comfort as well as toys.

I think talking to the staff of The Toy Project could benefit my project.
Also, I got one response from one of the stakeholders. Finding Unicorn company has replied to my email! Here’s their reply.

Their responses provide valuable insights for my project.
- Their answers about art toys being a form of art and the surprise element in blind boxes help illustrate how art toys are marketed and perceived culturally. This aligns with my aim to validate art toys as a legitimate art form.
- Their emphasis on the joy and surprise of collecting art toys highlights their emotional impact; this can be another focus for the project.
I look forward to other responses from the stakeholders.
