This week is the final tutorial for this term. I got the feedback on the online survey and the next step to prepare for the final submission.
- Based on the survey, I need more feedback from the target group. It seems that they are not interested in craft at all.
- Find a target group and let them touch and give feedback.
- Maybe do the workshop and invite the target group to make art toys from their childhood.
I think the workshop will be a good opportunity for me to gain more feedback from the stakeholders because I will show them the craft of creative work. They can learn to create their own, which may change their perception about it. However, there is one challenge that it is hard to find Thai people to participate in the workshop. I’m not sure how many people I will have to participate in the workshop, but I will try my best to find them!
The plan for the workshop
- Pre-Workshop Survey: Participants will be asked to complete a short survey to understand their initial views on art toys and craftsmanship.
- Workshop Activity: Participants will be guided to design and personalise their own art toy based on the theme “Reimagine Childhood.” This includes learning about the creation process and the significance of storytelling in art.
- Post-Workshop Survey: Participants will complete a follow-up survey to measure any changes in their understanding of crafts.
- Feedback and Discussion: Participants will be encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences during the workshop, which will be recorded for research purposes.
I will prepare all the equipment and participant consent forms for them to sign before starting the workshop. I will also record a video of the entire workshop process to use as evidence. I designed the poster for this workshop.

I prepared the pre- and post-survey for them to collect their views and feedback before and after the workshop, which will be the measure of my project.

For the design part, I will give them an outline of Hebby, which will have a front, side, and back of Hebby clay so that they can design the reimagined childhood element on the drawing before starting the clay.
